Harangue
Long, passionate and vehement (forceful or intense) speech. In her long and lengthy harangue, the principal berated the offenders.
Hyperbole.
Exaggeration; overstatement. Apples claims about their new computer are pure hyperbole, no computers can be that good.
Iconoclastic
Attacking cherished traditions.Deeply iconoclastic, Jean set out to shock theater goers with this radical play.
Immutable
Unchangeable. All things change over time, nothing is immutable.
Impassive
Without feeling; imperturbable; stoical. The prisoner kept his face impassive to hide his fear.
Impermiable
Not allowing passage through its substance;impervious. The new material is impermeable to liquids.
Impervious
Impenetrable;incapable of being damaged or distressed. After having read so many negative reviews on his acting, the movie star was impervious to criticism.
Imperturbable
John remained imperturbable in spite of hysteria around him.
Implacable
Incapable of being pacified. Donna was the implacable enemy of Bob
Inchoate
Recently begun; rudimentary; elementary. Before creation, the world was an inchoate mass.
Incongruity.
Lack of harmony; absurdity. The incongruity of his wearing sneakers and formal ear amused observers.
Indigence
Poverty. Economists could not work out a way to wipe out indigence from society.
Indolent
Lazy. Couch potatoes lead an indolent life reclining on their laziboys.
Inert
Inactive; lacking power to move. Tony lay in bed inert.
ingenuous
Naive and trusting; young; unsophisticated. I did not realize how ingenious I was until my friend told me I would invite Jack the Ripper to dinner because i thought he was interesting.
