Width
Mass
Diameter
What are the advantages and disadvantages of measuring the wet mass?
Easy to measure
It can change very easily as you are simply measuring the organism -
Mass can change when it rains (some organisms can absorb water when it rains , therefore increases mass)
A full bladder can increase mass
An empty stomach can decrease mass
What are the advantages and disadvantages of measuring the dry mass?
The mass is not affected if the organism eats, had a full bladder, absorbs water etc.
The organism had to be dead to measure the dry mass-
Therefore cannot really work for humans (can be okay for grass)
