A team can be recognised easily as they are wearing the same uniform/ colour.
• This develops affiliation which creates motivation and a belonging

What is the benefit of a shared goal or purpose
Achieving a shared goal/ target helps to bind people together so they commit to each other and work hard to achieve the goal, this raises motivation.
What’s the difference between task and social cohesion
Task is result based - outcome based
Social is working together - interaction

Getting to know each other, strengths weakness
Develop social relationships
Reliant on the coach to bring the group together
