- a team can be recognised easily as they are wearing the same uniform/colour
- this develops affiliation which creates motivation and a belonging

- the way players work together to complete a task
- are they loud or quiet

what is meant by a shared Goal or Purpose:
A
- achieving a shared goal/target helps to bind people together so they commit to each other and work hard to achieve the goal, this raises motivation

what are the four stages of Tuckman’s Model (Group Formation)
A
- Forming- getting to know each other, strength’s/ weaknesses, will people fit in
- Storming- infighting and conflict as people establish roles/ positions
- Norming- cooperation. Conflicts are resolved.
- Performing- common goals, success, team support each other and understand their roles
