Reduces polymorphonuclear leukocyte migration, suppresses the lymph system

Corticosteroid dosing
A
Prednisolone 30-35mg PO QD x5 days
Prednisone 30-60mg PO QD x2, then taper over 10 days
IA triamcinolone injections are also available (don’t need to know dose though)

Leukocystosis, increased appetite, mood changes, elevated BG
