MONOMERIC ENZYME, 4 domains, breaks alpha 1-4, which is the driving force. also forms alpha 1-6 bonds.
moves around 6-7 sugar units, will move the units to a C6-OH from achain of 11+ units and create alpha 1-6 here.
GBE and GDE rxns are thermodynamically favorable, (because brekaing of alpha 1-6 in GDE is the driving force, so gives you 0 overall)
