the production of a global good that is adapted to a local market
e.g. Coca-cola tasting the same all over the world, but only tweaking their packaging

A
- Walmart entered China in 1996
- They provided Chinese customers with a vegetable section, double the size of the one in America
- A billion new costumers, widening their global market ensuring it can survive overseas
- Provides job’s for the Chinese employers and it helps boost their economy
