Disadvantages of top down development
lack of commitment
cost a lot
relies on higherauthority figures
What is bottom up development?
small changes bit make a massive difference at local level eg building a well so a community can have access to clean safe water

makes a big impact
quick affect
low cost
Disadvantages of bottom up development
only benefits a small population
potential for overwhelm of ideas and feedback
slower descison making as many people involved

gross domestic product, represents the total money value of all good ans services produced in a country in a given period
