Synoptic features
When a motion of a synoptic feature is 5 kt or more, it will be indicated by an arrow and a speed value

When is turbulence depicted on a GFA?
Whenever moderate or severe turbulence is forecast for the coverage area. The base and top of each turbulence layer is measured in hundreds of feet ASL.
How is the height of freezing level measured above sea level?
With 2500 foot intervals, starting at the surface.
