Cold soaked fuel frost departure conditions
Departure with less than 3mm of frost on the lower wing or within CSFF lines on upper wing is permitted when;
- OAT is above 4 deg
- No visible moisture (rain, snow, sleet, fog) with less than 1nm vis
- Fuel tank temp above -16 deg
- All leading edge devices, control surfaces, winglet surfaces and control surface cavities are free of snow, ice or frost.
If not de-icing is required.
Approach Validation Criteria
Line selectable
Final app course +- 3deg
Distance from FaF to RWY or MAP within 1nm
No minimum crossing altitude infringed by more than 10ft
Approach angle within +- 0.1deg
Altitude at RWY or MAPT is appropriate
No other limitation exists than would invalidate the approach.
