Cockpit DOME lights
provide area lighting and are controlled by the
DOME switch on the overhead panel.
o Push – Illuminates / extinguishes overhead dome lights.
OVHD and INST & PED Rheostats (overhead, Instrument & Pedestal)
o Rotate - Outer rheostats control respective lights. Inner
rheostats control respective floodlights. Floodlights illuminate
the overhead, glareshield, pedestal, and instrument panels.
o The light intensity can be adjusted using the INSTR & PED
PNL-FLOOD and OVHD PNL-FLOOD knobs on the overhead
panel
THUNDERSTORM - ON:
THUNDERSTORM - ONOverrides individual lighting controls to
illuminate instrument and control panel floodlights full bright.
LDG LT Switches (Landing Lights L/R)
RET - Retracts landing light(s) flush with wing.
EXT OFF - Extends landing light(s) with lamps off.
EXT ON - Extends landing light(s) with lamps on.
Know hot to select EIS synoptic displays
BRT knob, ND Switch, System Cue Switches, Conseq/status/ Misc switches
Know cockpit door functions
Decompression Latches Each latch has an indicator that indicates green for normal ops Maintenance should be called if red

OFF charges from DC transfer (disarm light on EAD), ARM normal position Arms emergency battery pack, ON activates emergency battery packs to illuminate emergency lights

Off off, Arm normal, On Airplane battery supplies AC and DC emergency bus and DC transfer bus extinguishes all emergency lights except cabin standby lights(ceiling lights)
emergency lights (forward FA)
Arm (same) ON overrides the EMER LT switch to illuminate emergency lights must be moved to arm then on.
Recall operation of the Personal Breathing Equipment
15min Green PBE active and functioning , Red/green useful life is exhausted , if unit does not inflate in 2 to 3 min PBE is not functioning properly
