Q

Stick pusher push to inhibit light

A

during detection of imminent stall STICK PUSHER PUSH TO INHIBIT switch lights illuminate and the autopilot disconnects then abrupt forward movement of both control columns followed by stick shaker deactivation forward pressure continues until angle of attack reduced below stick shaker onset The stick shear can be stopped by

1) flight crew pulling aft on the controls until reduced below shaker onset
2) pushing stick pusher push to inhibit light

3) inhibited by decreasing performance windshear

Q

HYD CONT RUDDER

A

Allows selection of manual rudder ops
If manual selected or if right hyd pressure is too low the rudder tab unlocks In manual mode the rudder pedals move the control tab on the rudder

Q

How are ground spoilers automatically deployed

A

spoilers operate automatically on landing at main wheel spin-up or a ground shift signal from the nose gear. During rejected takeoff selecting reverse thrust deploys the spoilers If throttles are advanced the spoilers automatically retract

Q

Rudder limiting

A

Primary is mechanical system operated by ram air pressure from a pitot tube on vertical stab
Second controlled by flight control computer backup if primary fails operating as a function of airspeed engages at predetermined airspeeds
