what is the fuel return to tank process when is it inhibited
excess warmed fuel cycling through the engine fuel system is returned to the main tank. It can be inhibited by the EEC for many reasons including takeoff, landing, main tank fuel low or high fuel temperature. It enters near the inboard corner for ice reduction To accommodate the extra fuel entering the main tanks the main tank is vented into the center tank.

what is the function of the fuel switches on the pedestal
ON commands EEC to energize ignition and open FMU high pressure shut off valve when start requirements are met. OFF shuts off fuel to respective engine and turns off ignition.
