What is the Montgomery judgement 2015?

A

Deals with consent and brings the law into line with the ethical requirements imposed by the GDC.
Patients must be fully informed about risks to them that any procedure carries and be permitted to decide wether to proceed at all or wish to pursue alternative treatments or no Tx at all.
