Q

pathway

A
  • originates at outer canthus of eye at GB1
  • goes to front of ear then up hairline of temporal region before curing down retro-auricular region to mastoid process
  • travels back up to 1 cun above middle of eyebrow then back down to connect GB20 below occipital b/t SCM and trapezius muscle where divides into 2
  • one branch connects to GV14 the down to supra-clavicular fossa
  • another branch to GB12 at mastoid process interally through ear then connects to GB1 at outer canthus before curving around face and down to neck to meet at supra-clavicular fossa
  • at supra-clavicular fossa splits into internal and external branch
  • external branch to _ on the mid-axillary line then to 7th intercostal space, 4 cun lateral to midline, then to end of 12th rib. then goes to GB26 at level of umbilicus below free end of 11th rib then to ASIS then to coccyx then GB30 located in lateral 1/3 b/t saccral hiatus and greater trochanter
  • internal branch does down chest and diaphragm to meet with GB and LR before continuing to inguinal region, runs along pubic hair margin and enters hip to meet with external GB30 branch
  • from GB30 goes down medial aspect of thigh, knee and lower leg to anterior aspect of fibula to lateral malleolous
  • continues along dorsum of foot b/t 4th and 5th MT
terminates at lateral side of 4th toe
  • another branch emerges from GB41 on lateral aspect of foot and goes b/t 1st and 2nd MT to connect with LR-M at lateral side of big toe

divergent meridian

A

splits at GB30 and goes to pubic symphysis at CV20 and ascends to LR13, enters thoracic cavity and connects to LR and GB then passes through HT and continues up oesophagus and spread round submandibular region then goes up to face to outer canthus and connects with own meridian and LR divergent at 2nd confluent pt Tongziliao (GB1)

muscle region

A

begins at 4th toe, goes to lateral malleolous and up lateral aspect of calf and knee
a branch begins at GB34 and ascends to thigh
one branch runs anteriorly to meet with ST32,
another runs posteriorly to sacrum,
another branch ascends ot ribs and axilla linking with breast and connects to ST12
one more branch ascends to axilla, through ST12 then to BL-M passing behind ear to temple then vertex
