What are the clinical signs of pentachlorophenols?
muscle weakness, incoordination, anorexiam BT1, dyspnea, sweating, dehydration, irritation (skin, resp tract, cardiac malfunction, terminal convulsions)
What is the excretion and absorption of pentachlorophenols?
rapid absorption and excretion (glucuronide formation)
- half life in cattle = 2d
What is the treatment for pentachlorophenols?
cold water bath, wash or purgative oxygen, lavage
emesis
what is the PM findings with pentachlorophenols?
congestion
some hemorrhage
What are the DDx with pentachlorophenols?
heat stroke, resp distress syndromes
What is seen with carbamate fungicides?
depression anorexia, diarrhea
no inhibition of cholinesterase enzymes
What is found on PM with carbamate fungicides?
liver + kidney degen
lungs - congestion
thyroid hyperplasia (chronic)
What carbamate fungicide are sheep susceptible to?
Zineb
What are the symptoms of Captan?
PM?
dyspnea, anorexia, depression
PM
- hydrothorax, ascites, gatroenteritis
