A
  • perform self-test after engine start (2 mins)
  • continue to operate until slats are extended
  • resume operation when slats are retracted
  • run for short 5 mins after center tank low level is reached and then automatically turn off
  • will also shut off momentarily for wing tanks to burn down to allow room for IDG return fuel
