What is the forebrain?
A
The forebrain is the biggest part of the brain and regulates complex cognitive processes (e.g. thinking, learning, memory, perception, emotion). The forebrain also contains the cerebrum, the hypothalamus and the thalamus.

The cerebrum is primarily responsible for cognitive processes such as learning, memory and thinking.

The hypothalamus regulates the body’s internal environment.
