How and what do you need to test for carbohydrate-starch ?
A
Add iodine. From yellow/brown to blue/black.

How and what do you need to test for carbohydrate-reducing sugar ?
A
Benedict’s solution. Mix crushed food with water and heat gently. To green then brick red precipitate.

How and what do you need to test for protein ?
A
Biuret solution. Add 2-3cm. From blue to purple.

How and what do you need to test for fat ?
A
Ethanol. Add ethanol and it it settle, then add water. From clear to white emulsion.
