Flight Line Notes/Abnormals Flashcards
LMC (any change occurring after the final load sheet has been issued)
LMC limit 500 (kgs). 330f(250kgs)
Before or while in Severe Turbulence:
- Speed 240 kts below FL200 and 260 kts above.
- When thrust changes (speed) become excessive, what procedure and where is the reference?
QRH
OPS.01. (Severe Turbulence) speed and thrust settings (N1)
180 turn on Runway:
332-46 meters
333-50 meters
72 degree limit on steering
Nose gear 9 feet behind CockPit
SOP for departure and Arrival at Airports above 1000 feet above Sea Level ?
Departure airport plus 10,000 feet
Arrival Airport plus 10,000 feet
Approach climb gradient for the A330 ?
2.5% certification (regulations require 2.1% for 2 engine Jet)
Climb Rate=. 150GS x 4%(climb gradient) = 600 ft a minute is ((climb rate)
The A330 2engine climb performance is never limiting. As
per-GOA-GEN. P1/2
In case of a turn back at cruise ?
Turn back takes 2.5 minutes and always turn in to the wind!
Engine failure at cruise ? What are the strategy’s ?
Standard = M.82/300. PERF pg/LRC (OEI). PROG pg/MAC Rec Alt
Obstacle = Green Dot
Fix = “ETOP’s”. Dispatch lists speed on the OFP. USUALLY .82/330
Fuel consumption at cruise ?
2000 above OPT = +2.5%
2000 below OPT = +1.5%
4000 below OPT = + 5%

30 minute hold =
APU k/h
500 to 700 kg depending on weight 900 to 1200 kg depending on Ice shedding 2400 to 2600 kg depending on weight 215 k/h Gen/Packs on 140 k/g Gen only
Passenger oxygen has how many minutes ?
22 minutes ( minimum requirement is 13 minutes )
Where can you find the bottle pressure for the Oxygen system ?
And where can you find the required bottle pressure for the flight ?
On the Door system page of the ECAM.
Limitations Oxygen requirement.
After Emergency descent, and the O2 system is switch to “Normal” diluted. How long will the O2 last ?
Crew members and observers for 22 minutes and for only two crew members = FL100 / 98 minutes.
NOTE :::: 100% oxygen (smoke) at 8000 feet. Only 15 minutes.
ICAO speed for procedure Turns ?
180 kts to stay in the required area. ( circling approach )
