Should only use these procedures when both FMGC’s or all the MCDU’s are inoperative and no DATA Base… e.g. BRU/ORD Flt.

NAV key(guarded) press... In this case both must be pressed on.
ILS key push, select the freq and then transfer/then select the course in the std-by window.

A

4000 ft below increases fuel consumption by approx=5%
8000 ft by approx=10%

A decrease of 0.05 Mach for one hour
will provide approx 4 min of hold.
