Q

fihgt or flight reaction

A

amygdala detecs a threat and sends message to hypothalamus which communicates it to the rest of the body.
it then responds by activating the sympathetic NS ehich stimulates adernal medulla which secretes hormones into blood stres.
these hormones circulate the blood, activating organs to prepare the body for action
- then the hypothalamus stimulates the pituitary gland gland for additional secretion of hormones(minaly coritsol)
