1 micro gram/kg slow IV IO IN, max single dose 100 micrograms-repeat after 10 min
adult older than 65
0.5 micrograms/kg slow IV IO IN max single dose of 50 micrograms, repeat in 5 min

1-2 micrograms/kg slow IV IO IN
precautions
caution with patients with kidney and liver dysfunction
drug on drug interactions
additive effects with CNS depressants
should not be given with patients using MAOI’s in the last 14 days- may cause serotonin syndrome
