Pica
Persistent eating of nonnutritive, nonfood substances, inappropriate to the development level, and is not culturally supported or a socially norma practice, over a period of at least 1 month
Rumination Disorder
Repeated regurgitation of food that may be re-chewed, re-swallowed, or spit out over a period of at least 1 month.
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder
An eating or feeding disturbance as manifested by persistent failure to meet appropriate nutritional and/or energy needs.
Anorexia Nervosa
Restriction of energy intake relative to requirements , leading to a significantly low body weight in the context of age, sex, developmental trajectory, and physical health. Also marked by a intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat, and disturbance in experience of one’s body weight or shape.
Bulimia Nervosa
Recurrent episodes of binge eating characterized by eating large amounts of food in a discrete period of time and lack of control over eating followed by compensatory behaviors such as self-induced vomiting, misuse of laxatives, fasting or excessive exercise for at least once a week for 3 months.
Binge-Eating Disorder
Recurrent episodes of binge eating characterized by eating large amounts of food in a discrete period of time and lack of control over eating for at least once a week for 3 months.
