  • Raise system pressure and supply water to the S/Gs
  • Maintains proper water level in S/Gs
  • S/Gs provide heat transfer from the core (RCS) to turbine and auxiliary equipment

  • Oil Pressure at least 8psig
  • All FW header block valves must be closed (V2-6 A/B/C) with power supplied to them
  • No FW isolation signals
  • S/G level are less than 75%

A
  • Ensure minimum flow necessary for cooling of the MFP during low flow conditions.
  • AOV
  • When in Auto, open when flow lowers to 1475gpm, closes at 3100gpm.(only open when associated pump is running)
