  • Areolar and adipose connective tissue
    • Variable amounts of fat
  • Deep to skin, superficial to deep fascia and muscles

Deep Fascia

A
  • Endomysium and perimysium all parts of deep fascia
  • Dense connective tissue that surrounds muscle groups, fascicles and individual skeletal muscle fibers
  • Deep to superficial fascia
  • Sometimes named (e.g. thoracolumbar fascia)
