If cancer was at <60, begin at 40 + have colonoscopy every 5 years

A

Pap or liquid based cytology
All women >25 every 3 years
Women over 70 = if 3 normal tests in a row + no abnormal tests in last 10 years, discontinue

ASCUS = abnormal squamous cells of unknown significance
Age <30 = repeat cytology in 6 months, if negative, repeat again in 6 months
If positive, colposcopy

Age >30 = HPV test, if negative, repeat in 12 months, if positive, colposcopy

  • Impaired memory/ concentration
  • Sore throat
