- not feeding a complete and balanced diet
- feeding a diet not substained for growth (bc increase nutrients needed for growth)
- not feeding a growth diet appropriatly (too many treats can mess up the diet)
How can nutrient excess lead to nurtritional risk of DOD?
- mineral interactions (relative deficiencies)
- calcium (both too little and too much is problematic)
- Adding vitmain mineral supplements to a complete and balanced diet

- when training puppies use same kibble instead of treats as much as possible
