Peroneus Longus

A

Origins- lat tib condyle, upper 2/3 lat surface of fibula, lat side of fibular head
Insertions (2 slips)- base of MT1, medial cuneiform (plantar/lat surfaces)

Action- supports ankle

A

Origin- lower 2/3 of lat surface of fibula ant to PL

Insertion- tubercle on lat side of base of MT5

A

Origin- lower 1/4 of med fibula and adjacent IOM
Insertion- base of MT5, medial and dorsal aspect

Innervation- Deep Peroneal Nerve L5-S1 (tib ant L4-5)
Action- assist in DF of ankle
