What is the administration standard?

A
  • Vital signs q15min x4 then q30 min x2, then q1h until the end of infusion
  • Concurrent saline infusion at KVO rate
  • Begin infusion rate at 50 ml/h for 1 hr and increase by 50 ml/h every 30 minutes up to maximum of 400 ml/h
  • Average infusion required 12 -16 vital signs!
