E.G Shallice and Warrington studied KF who had amnesia
Found that KF’s STM for digits was very poor when they read it out loud to him but his recall was much better when he was able to read the digits out to himself
-limitation= of the MSM because research shows that at the very least there must be one store to process visual info another one for auditory info.
