A
  • Accuracy of pronunciation and grammar should be considered
  • whether all the speakers are given the same amount of time
  • is it acceptable to have long pauses and repetitions?
  • is what the speaker saying is relavent to the topic
  • what is focused relevance to the topic or speaking skill or both

Green, Christopher and Lom (2002) says that to evaluate a speaking performance
One student should become the evaluator
