Part of treating clients with respect is timeliness, completing jobs in a reasonable amount of time, although not my clients, I have treated executors with empathy, they are often undergoing the grieving process.

It is important to note that different surveyors can have different opinions and neither is necessarily incorrect. when disagreeing with other surveys I have always remained calm and cordial.

I would decline the financial incentive, explaining that it would amount to a bribe. And follow the normal process for receiving an offer.

I would ask if they would rather enter into a contract which would include multiple jobs, if not I would continue with the original fee proposal.

I would not act on their behalf. If they are on the sanctions list I would report the to the Office for Financial Sanctions. I would also report the incident to the relevant authorities. National Crime Agency/ HMRC Fraud Hotline.

Cease acting on their behalf and report them to the National Crime Agency.
