How have you advised on data storage system?
In my previous workplace I was asked about various ways of storing data, it was at the time all archived on a sever in the attic, whilst this is rather secure it is vulnerable to fires/ theft. I advised that we could use a cloud based system which would allow users to access the data from anywhere with internet access, this also helps to prevent data loss.
How have you advised on business filling systems?
I advised my previous workplace that as well as filing hard copies we should digitally file copies as a back-up.

How have you advised on the use of a computerised central project database?
I haven’t advised on this but we are asked to provide feedback on the system that we use.
How have you advised on the security data.
I explained the need for the server at a previous workplace to be encrypted hinder unauthorised access.

How have you complied with clients data security requirements.
When acting for HMRC I ensure that I keep their data secure and ensure that it is not shared with anyone who it shouldn’t be shared with.
How have you incorporated data research into complex reasoned advise to clients.
All of my valuations are completed with researched data, to find the level of comparable values in the area, I also use data research to discover facts about the subject property.
How have you presented conclusions to clients from data research and analysis?
I have included tables in reports which show comparables, In local taxation cases I have used maps which display comparables on them and show the varying £/sqm in the locality.
What allowed you to obtain personal information to check connections
As part of our central database, when search for comparables it displays who the parties are and if they are thought to be at arms length or not.
What was the clear reasoned advice to colleagues on the SDLT analysis?
I advised on the type of land and how much it was valued at per acre.
How do you record the sources of external data used?
I reference them in my reports and include hyperlinks.
what storage of information are you allowed to undertake?
we store information on our secure servers at work, we are not allowed to store and identifiable/sensitive date on the cloud or locally.
How did you know what information to redact at FOR readings?
Only show required data and no extra personal data.
