- they should be reminded of the fact that they have the right to withdraw

What is the BPS code of conduct
A
- aka BPS code of ethics, has its own set of guidelines
- ensures all ppts must be treated with respect and consideration during each phase of research

How do you deal with deception and protection from harm
A
- ppts should be given full debrief, must be given the right to withdraw data if they wish
- if subjects have been subject to stress or embarrassment they may require counselling

A
- maintain anonymity by using numbers, initials instead of names
