Q

Describe in five full sentences why is Passover celebrated

A

Passover is important to Jews because it educates them about their past - “The journey from slavery to freedom is one we need to travel in every generation”. They do this by having specific food on the Seder plate. The tray has space for six meals that reminds Jews of their past. Such food is horse radish. Jews eat this because it reminds them the bitterness of slavery. It reminds the Jews of Exodus from Egypt - God freed them from slavery, and it brings a sense of belonging along the way.
