Describe in five full sentences why is Passover celebrated
Passover is important to Jews because it educates them about their past - “The journey from slavery to freedom is one we need to travel in every generation”. They do this by having specific food on the Seder plate. The tray has space for six meals that reminds Jews of their past. Such food is horse radish. Jews eat this because it reminds them the bitterness of slavery. It reminds the Jews of Exodus from Egypt - God freed them from slavery, and it brings a sense of belonging along the way.

The Seder meal is a traditional Passover meal that includes:
Horse radish, Reminds Jews the bitterness of slavery. Horse radish has a bitter taste that reminds Jews of their ancestors slavery.
Salt water, The vegetables are dipped into salt water.
Roasted egg, The longer it is burnt the harder it becomes. Reminds Jews the strength of the Jewish people and a new life.
Apple, nut and wine paste (charoset), vegetables have to be pulled from the ground, reminds Jews of the hard labour Israelites were forced to do . The green vegetables are dipped into salt water.
