What does ambient or generals light affect?
Ambient or general lighting affects the ambience of a retail setting while it’s purpose is to provide light in order to perform activities.
What is accent lighting?
Accent lighting is the localized illumination that uses beamed or concentrated light that calls attention to specific, small areas or objects.
What does perimeter lighting focus the light on?
Perimeter lighting focuses the light on the boundaries of a space including walls or the ceiling.
What is the intensity?
The intensity is the amount of light energy that’s reflected in an area or the brightness or dimness of the light.
What is the visible spectrum?
The visible spectrum is only a small portion of all of the light waves that are visible to the human eye.
What does combustion or flames produce?
Combustion or flames produces a warm orange-colored light.
What is incandescent light from?
Incandescent light is from the yellow portion of the spectrum and gives a warm glow to objects.
What is fluorescent light from?
Fluorescent light is from the blue area of the spectrum but new lamps are designed in order to create a warmer, less blue or a full-spectrum white light that resembles noonday light.
What is diffusion?
Diffusion is the concentration and direction of light rays.
What is the form from lighting considered to produce?
The form from lighting is considered to produce pools of light including lines, shapes, and textures.
What will lighting be used for?
Lighting will be used for property, product presentation, and promotional activities.
