How does toxin vaccine work?

A

Normally, toxin binds celullar receptors, tkaen in and then toxin redistributed…HERE, the AB binds the toxin so it cannot bind to and enter cells

A

Dimeric IgA transported into gut lumen through epithelila cells…it binds to layer of mucus in the gut and can then nuetralize pathogens
