CNS depression, nausea, vomiting
What is the route and administration of Fentanyl?
IV/IN/IM/IO doses may be given every 10 minutes.
What is the adult dose of fentanyl?
50-100 mcg (max 200 mcg)
What is the pediatric dose of fentanyl?
1 mcg/kg (max 75 per dose) 2 mcg/kg for intranasal (max 100 mcg per dose)

Rapid (less than 1 minute) Duration 4-6 hours

CNS depression from other drugs, lower respiratory symptoms

Sedation, confusion, tissue irritation

IV: Push slowly and dilute medication in 10ML NS
IM: administer only if systolic is over 100
What is the adult dose of Promethazine?
IV: 12.5-25 mg
