What two ligaments make up the lesser omentum?
The hepatogastric and the hepatoduodenal ligaments
What does the portal triad contain?
Hepatic artery, portal vein, and common bile duct
What does the gastroduodenal artery branch into?
The gastroepiploic and the superior pancreaticoduodenal artery.
What does the proper heaptic artery give off?
The right gastric artery that anastomoses with the left gastric along the lesser curvature.
It also gives off a right and left hepatic artery.
What is the gastroepiploic an anastomoses of?
The splenic artery and the gastroduodenal artery.
What are the four regions of the duodenum?
The superior (first) part, the descending (second) part, the horizontal (third) part, and the ascending (fourth part)
What contributes/ forms the portal vein?
The splenic vein and the superior mesenteric vein.
What does the ligamentum arteriosum connect?
The undersurface of the arch of the aorta to the upper and anterior aspect of the pulmonary trunk. It is a remnant of the ductus arteriosus
What does the right coronary artery branch into?
The right atrial branch that supplies the right atrium and the SA node
The right marginal artery
The right posterior descending artery.
What does the right posterior descending artery anastomose with?
The circumflex branch.
What are the branches of the left coronary artery?
The left anterior descending
The circumflex artery
The left marginal
