Language Disorders
a chronic condition marked by persistent inattention, hyperactivity, and sometimes impulsivity.
ADHD
a congenital disorder arising from a chromosome defect, causing intellectual impairment and physical abnormalities including short stature and a broad facial profile. It arises from a defect involving chromosome 21, usually an extra copy (trisomy-21).
Down Syndrome
characterized by significant limitations both in intellectual functioning (reasoning, learning, problem solving) and in adaptive behavior, which covers a range of everyday social and practical skills. This disability originates before the age of 18.
ID
defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) based on type (motor or phonic) and duration of tics (sudden, rapid, nonrhythmic movements).

pica
is an under-diagnosed chronic motility disorder characterized by effortless regurgitation of most meals following consumption, due to the involuntary contraction of the muscles around the abdomen.
Rumination Disorder
characterized by the failure of an infant or child under six years of age to eat enough food to gain weight … problems are common in infancy and childhood, Is estimated to occur in 1% to 3% of infants and children.
Feeding Disorder of Infancy or Early Childhood
