rubella

non-specific intravenous immune globulin (IVIG)
chicken pox
(1) varivax- 2 doses (2) MMRV
varivax contraindications
(1) pregnant person (teratogen) (2) don’t take ASA for 28 days (3) varivax does not protect against shingles
MMR2 contraindications
immunocomprimised, preggo, even thinking of becoming pregnant in next few months
shingles
(1) zostavax- live attenuated (2) shingrix- 2 doses, adjuvanted
zostavax contraindications
children or people WITHOUT a hx of chickenpox
shingrix indications
people who have previously had zostavax
HPV
gardasil 9 (prevents against HPV 6, 11, 16, 18, and five others)
gardasil indications
males and females age 9-45
lyme
no longer around- abandoned due to adverse effects
chagas
spray houses, screen blood/ organ donors, bednets, screen newborns for early tx, working on a vaccine
