Cheeks, hard and soft palate, lips, and tongue.

Extrinsic and intrinsic muscles.
What is the lingual frenulum?
Fold of mucous membrane under the tongue.
What covers the upper surface and sides of the tongue?
Papillae.
What enzyme is secreted on the tongue’s dorsum?
Lingual lipase.
What does lingual lipase do?
Initiates fat digestion.
