What is the life-cycle of D. viviparus?

A
  1. L1 in lungs coughed up + swallowed + passed out in faeces
  2. L1 develop to L3 in faeces (infective stage)
  3. 0-7 days post-infection - L3 ingested + lympho-tracheal migration
  4. Moults to L4 in lymph nodes + travels to lungs
  5. 8-25 days post-infection L4-L5 in lungs - L5 migrate up bronchial tree + adults in bronchi and trachea
  6. 26-55days post-infection - adults in URT + eggs + L1
  7. 55 days+ protective immunity
