palpation of foot includes
bones and joints for swelling, tenderness
vascular assessment of the foot includes
temperature, pulses x4 (femoral, popliteal, Posterior tibial and dorsal pedial
cap refill test
neurological assessment of foot includes
reflexes- ankle
sensation- cotton wool and monofilament
proprioception
vibration- 128Hz, start distal moving proximally
extra tasks in the foot assessment
palpate all pulses
what can be offered to end the foot assessment
pin prick testing, temp testing, Ankle Brachial Pressure index, blood glucose
