Many Soviet Union citizens saw him as their God, they worshipped and obeyed him just like they had with the Tsar. Peasants and workers even created shrines to him known as ‘red corners’ in their homes.

As mediums he could use to further his cult of personality, he just saw it all as Propaganda.

Glorifying the working man and communities working together for the collective.
