Why did some left-wingers fight in the Civil War?
They claimed that the Bolsheviks had ignored the Soviets who’d helped put them into power.

The Bourgeoisie and the Aristocrats.

Why did national minorities such as Georgians fight in the Civil War?
Independence; they didn’t trust that the Bolsheviks would support them.
Why were so many Russians annoyed that the Bolsheviks had lost them Ukraine?
It worsened food shortages because Ukraine had previously been the largest exporter of grain.
What was the Whites’ main issue when considering all the reasons they hated the Bolsheviks?
They were so uncoordinated in their hatred that they couldn’t effectively organise themselves.
