Q

What is convergence

A

Convergence is a binocular depth cue which involves the brain detecting and interpreting depth or distance from changes in tension in the eye muscles that occur when the 2 eyes turn inwards to focus on close objects

Q

What is retinal disparity

A

Retinal disparity is a binocular depth cue that are when there is a very slight difference in the location of the visual images on the retina due to different angles of view from each eye

What is accommodation?

A

is the automatic adjustment of the lens shape to focus on an object in response to how far away it is. Lens can bulge (closer) or flatten (further away)
