What is the dependency ratio?
An age-population ratio of those typically not in the labour force (Children and Elderly) and those typically in the labour force.
Define ageism.
Prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of a person’s age.
What is structural dependency?
The process by which some people in society receive an unequal share in the results of social production.
Define net migration.
the difference between the number of people entering a country (immigrants) and the number leaving it (emigrants) during a specific time period
What does immigration mean?
Moving into a country that is not your country of origin.
Define emigration.
