When releasing an accused from the station on Sex assault, criminal harassment or IPV-related charge SHALL ENSURE
A
- The victim is IMMEDIATELY NOTIFIED of all RELEASE CONDITIONS and next CRT date of the accused
- The victim is advised to ENGAGE in a SAFETY PLAN, including 911 in emergency situations, and to CONTACT VICTIM SERVICES for safety planning
- The victim is advised to contact MAG’s victim/witness assistance program
- TPS 483 is complete
- NOTATIONS on DATE, TIME, PERSON CONTACTED and other details, including ATTEMPTS to notify are
- added to supp
- memo book
-TPS 483 - A COPY of the RELEASE DOCS and TPS 483 are retained electronically in the DESIGNATED folder on the division’s shared drive (X)
- TPS 483 and ORIGINAL COPY of the RELEASE DOCS are forwarded to the D/SGT

- Review the completed documents
- Ensure original docs are forwarded to the APPROPRIATE CASE MANAGER
